Gain skills and experience

When you volunteer for Advocacy 1st, you can benefit from learning new work skills, gaining confidence and making friends while helping others.

There are many ways you can volunteer. Some of our volunteers help us to advocate for vulnerable children and adults, provide independent visitor support for young people, provide support for care leavers, help with fundraising, and help run activities and self-advocacy sessions. We have volunteers on our Board of Trustees, and volunteers who now work in paid jobs at Advocacy 1st.

It makes me comfortable to meet all these people. They're so helpful.
