Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards (DoLS)

• Independent Mental Capacity Advocacy for people over 18 who are being assessed for a deprivation of liberty in a care home or hospital
• Support for people over 16 who need a 1.2 representative for court-approved deprivations
• Relevant Person’s Paid Representatives providing support during deprivation to call reviews and make appeals
• Support for family and friends acting as Relevant Person’s Representative to help them understand their role and make challenges
